OUR ORIGIN The begining of blooms, Black Haw Blossom began when Megan decided that she wanted to share more beauty with the world. Megan had always been infatuated with the world of plants and flowers, she grew up next to the fields of Queen Anns Lace and Yarrow, not knowing then she'd pursue these blooms as her career. She completed her Permaculture Design Course in 2015 at The Occidental Arts and Ecology Center, which is where she knew farming was always going to be apart of her future. After completing a 200 hour garden apprenticeship at The California School of Herbal Studies in Forestville, California in 2019 , she fell in love with growing plants of all verities from medicinal to ornamental . Once she completed her 500 hour Roots of Herbal Medicine program and Garden Apprenticeship she knew she wanted to head back East to her home state of Virginia. ​ We started Black Haw Blossom to provide unique seasonal blooms and handcrafted botanical products to Northern Virginia. We offer blooms rooted in organic farming and sustainability. Black Haw Blossom is a combination of flower farming and herbalism all rolled into one one garden. Get in Touch
